Baby cousins

We were so excited to have Becky, Travis, and Cadel come to visit! It was Cadel and Leif's first cousin play date. I'm afraid Leif wasn't very exciting and spent most of his time sleeping. I'm sure the play dates will be much livelier in the future! We are so lucky to have them so close.

Auntie Kara, Uncle Travis and Tyler and Carter came to visit! (Annamarie stayed with Gigi and Popi) We had so much fun! For some reason we didn't get any photos on our camera of everyone with Leif (Auntie Kara will you send some?)

Week 2

Last week was a week of firsts. First visit out of the house to see the Midwives and then the Pediatrician. On Thursday Leif was 8 lbs 8oz, and then on Tuesday he was 8 lbs 15oz!  Our little man loves to eat!  He is in the 50th-60th percentile for all of his measurements. He will follow my voice and turn his head to find me in the house and is spending more time awake. Sleeping is getting a little more challenging because for some reason he thinks it is time to party from 2am-6am. My years of night shift are coming in handy and nights are much more fun with this cute little guy.

I have overheard Zan quoting The Godfather to Leif while I have been resting in the bedroom. I think he might be getting some ideas and trying to intimidate me...and it might be working

We love Auntie Bug!!

First week

Our baby boy is a week old! Already he is holding his head up for short periods of time, he can roll from his back to his side, is a Houdini at getting out of his swaddle and is a great eater! He sleeps 2-3 hours at a time and barely cries. So far we could not be happier with the personality of our sweet little man.
